Shonela Grabowski, the CEO & founder of Salesation Consulting GmbH, embarked on her entrepreneurial journey at a young age. While still in school, she launched her own business by selling websites to restaurants. Her early success in this venture laid the foundation for her future endeavors.
Following her foray into website sales, Shonela transitioned into real estate sales, where she achieved remarkable results. She even led a team that consistently generated seven figures in monthly revenue. This remarkable achievement caught the attention of consulting firms, which recognized her sales prowess.
Subsequently, Shonela ventured into the realm of digital business consulting. During an independent project focused on optimizing sales for a franchise, she crossed paths with her future business partners. It became apparent that they shared a common vision: to redefine the field of sales.
From that moment forward, Shonela and her partners collaborated on various projects. They quickly identified a growing demand for international business consulting services, with a particular emphasis on sales. In response to this need, they jointly founded Salesation & Partner on January 17th, 2022, to provide specialized consulting services in the realm of sales.
Below are highlights of the interview:
Tell us about Salesation Consulting GmbH and its mission. What inspired you to start this company?
At Salesation & Partner, our goal is to redefine sales and change the way people think about sales. While sales can sometimes carry a negative connotation, they’re actually a vital component. After all, even the finest product holds little value without effective sales strategies.
Our strong alliance of individual entrepreneurs at the C-level came together naturally. Today, our primary focus remains on collaborating with franchises, multi-location businesses, corporations, and conglomerates. Yet we’re equally dedicated to aiding companies with immense growth potential. Guided by the belief that “sky is just the beginning,” we’re committed to helping these businesses thrive.
What strategies do you employ to ensure that Salesation Consulting GmbH remains competitive in the market?
We’re a business consulting firm that stands on two pillars: agency services and pure consulting. Currently, we’ve merged both aspects because our clients often face a common challenge: time. This is exactly what we tackle with the SALESATION BOOTCAMP. We are 60 times more efficient than a 6-month agency solution. Our entire C-level team (experts in areas like finance, sales, and marketing) plus our partner agency, JC Production, are involved. Clients spend 2 or 3 days with us, during which they accomplish everything from start to finish.
For instance, they might develop a new digital lead generation strategy, craft an investor pitch, or implement a complete digital employee onboarding process. All of this happens within a maximum of 3 days. The follow-up process continues for 30 days through consulting. This allows companies to wrap up a project in a month and focus on other areas. It’s a game-changer for entrepreneurs. Plus, the inspiring backdrop adds to the experience. We host the entire event at 5-star resorts with all-inclusive services, blending relaxation with undivided focus.
How do you foster a culture of innovation and adaptability within your organization, considering the rapidly changing landscape of the business industry?
I’d say our highly solution-focused mindset is a big help. We follow an extreme ownership philosophy and stay constantly up-to-date by learning from the best of the best. This way, market changes become more of a growth opportunity than a real challenge. Plus, we’re always open to collaboration. This lets the strengths of two companies complement each other, and we receive strong input from experts. For example, a company like JC Productions (a video agency)
What steps do you take to attract and retain top talent in the industry, and how do you encourage professional growth and development within your organization?
We’re simply different, and that’s incredibly appealing to high performers. We make things happen where others might say it’s impossible. For instance, we have a gym for our employees as well as a personal combat trainer for anyone interested in martial arts. Additionally, every few months, we spend an extended period abroad, whether it’s for bootcamps, work trips, or mindset training. This keeps our team balanced, creative, and consistently exposed to new ideas.
How do you address the increasing importance of digitalization and technology in the sector, and how does it influence the company’s operations and customer experience?
This works in our favor because that’s exactly what we do. We’re adapting to the 21st century, and it’s clear that dinosaurs didn’t become extinct for no reason. Especially companies with a strong offline presence but not yet a robust online one often approach us. They realize that if they don’t catch up now, a business crisis is looming.
As Founder and CEO of Salesation Consulting GmbH, what is your overall vision for the company’s future, and how do you plan to achieve it?
Our primary focus is on enhancing efficiency in business consulting and expanding the bootcamp. Neither agency support, consulting, nor mastermind groups cover 100% of what entrepreneurs truly need. That’s why we’re introducing an entirely new approach with the Bootcamp, and we’re continuously building on it. Since we’re targeting businesses that have already reached a certain size, we also aim to support young entrepreneurs as a heartfelt initiative in the future.
To this end, we’re giving away one spot at each bootcamp and are also planning a charity run in 2025 to provide financial support as well as essential know-how to budding entrepreneurs.
What advice would you give to aspiring leaders or individuals looking to join the industry?
Knowledge is power, yet practical application is even more potent. We need young entrepreneurs who strive to make the world a bit better each day and dare to break away from conventional norms. Regardless of what anyone says, they persist in pursuing their vision. I myself was once dismissed in my youth, but now everyone recognizes my achievements. It’s a regular part of the process.
